Sonko exposes the rot in Auditor General’s office

Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko has exposed the rot in the office of the Auditor General headed by Edward Ouko.

Governor Mike Sonko appearing before the senate committee today, accused the Auditor General’s office of demanding a bribe to give Nairobi a clean report.

The Governor has also insisted that the beautification of Nairobi County is fully funded by money from his own pocket.

Refuting the reports by the office of the Auditor General , Governor Mike Sonko presented a stuck of many files containing the Nairobi County’s expenditure report.

Auditor General has only given a clean report card to Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana while others have been questioned and exposed on how they handle Mwananchi’s funds.

On the appointment of his Deputy Governor , Sonko has insisted that their is no need of the appointment.
