The West’s family is about to have a new addition!
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are expecting their fourth child who is due in 2 weeks, and the beauty mogul has just celebrated her expanding family with a CBD-themed baby shower.
When news first broke that Kim and Kanye were expecting another baby, a source revealed to Us Weekly that the due date was “very early May.” As we’re nearing the end of April, it makes sense that Kim invited her friends over for the slightly surprising baby shower.
In an Instagram Story, Kim revealed, “Yesterday I had my CBD baby shower! Thank you to everyone who celebrated baby #4 with us! It was just perfect!” She continued, “Thank you @mindyweiss & your team! And @hellomd_com & your team for making it happen.”
She also shared a series of photos and video clips from the event, and told guests, “So, because I’m freaking out and the baby is coming in, like, two weeks, I thought what better way to celebrate than to have a little CBD.”
According to People, guests “took part in a sound bath” and were given blue Yeezy slides. The publication also notes that “baby blue-colored decorations were placed all around as well as a ‘Name Game’ board where many suggested unique monikers for baby West.” Famous guests at the shower included Chrissy Teigen, Paris Hilton, Hrush Achemyan, and Jen Atkin.
According to People, Kim also apparently encouraged guests to “have a puff and put on some oil.”
On an episode of Watch What Happens Live! in January 2019, Kim revealed that her fourth child will be a boy. When host Andy Cohen mentioned the sex of the baby, Kim explained, “Well, I know, but I got drunk at our Christmas Eve party and I told some people and I can’t remember who I told ’cause I never get drunk.'”
