Ruto leads Kenyans in Congratulating Triumphant Brigid Kosgei

Deputy President William Ruto has led Kenyans in showering 2019 London Marathon Women’s race.

The 25 year old stunned compatriot and race favorite Vivian Cheruiyot to win her maiden London title in 2:18:20. Cheruiyot won silver.

Ruto lauded Koskei as a majestic, composed and confident performer.

Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga said that the whole country was proud of Brigid.

Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen couldn’t help but purr over the exhilarating performance.

Brigid finished 2nd in the 2018 edition of the London Marathon but she wasn’t ready to settle for anything other than gold this time and she made her intentions known early in the race.

Eliud Kipchoge easily strolled into his 4th London title in the men’s race to continue Kenya’s dominance in London.
