Tottenham Boss Hails New Stadium Record But Sets The Challenge Higher

Tottenham Hotspur will be facing West Ham United on Saturday in their new stadium.

Spurs have kept a fantastic record since opening their new stadium winning all the four matches- Crystal Palace, Manchester City, Huddersfield and Brighton.

Ahead of their match against West Ham, Coach Pochettino has encouraged his players to work hard and maintain the clean sheet record till the end of the season.

“If we are able to keep the same record from the first four games, it’s going to be amazing and we will be so happy to finish with the same record, [to not concede] in the next three games.

“I sign now to keep the same record! Of course it’s going to be so helpful. It would be fantastic, but we know it’s going to be very tough.

“Tomorrow is going to be a massive, massive game, a tough game. We must be sure we’re going to compete in our best but it will be fantastic for us if we can keep the same record in the next three games at home.”

If Tottenham could register three wins in their remaining three games at home, it will certainly bode well for next season. Spurs will be hoping the new stadium becomes a fortress and they are able to emulate the form they showed in their final season at White Hart Lane.
