Raila’s back position at the Beijing conference irks Miguna

Opposition leader Raila Odinga, who had traveled with the President to China, backed the call to finance construction of the railway line from Naivasha, through Narok, Bomet and Sotik to Kisumu.

However the anticipated Sh380 billion loan for the project did not, after all, come through. It is unclear what happened, or when the plans changed but Mr Macharia said Kenya will have to devise other favorable ways to raise funds.

President Kenyatta and Raila attended the conference bringing together 37 world leaders. Yesterday, the President presided over the Kenya-China Business forum in Beijing, seeking to strengthen business ties between the two nations, with a focus on increasing trade.

General Miguna Miguna has since expressed disappointment over the fact that Raila Odinga sat next next to Jomo Gecega behind Uhuru Kenyatta.

Dr Miguna has called for Raila to respect himself as a grandfather saying
he is exposing the Odinga Clan and by extension all ODM members to ridicule.

He declared that by making Raila Odinga sit next to Jomo Gecaga like an interloper Uhuru Kenyatta has completely DESTROYED!

“Monica Juma, James Macharia and Mwangi Kiunjuri (all Kikuyu elite) are not heads of state but they are sitting up in front! Not at the back with bodyguards like Raila Odinga,” Miguna added.

Dr Miguna insisted that even greedy cowards and hypocrites like Raila should retain some modicum of pride.
