Matiang’i ‘leaks’ Uhuru’s plan to achieve the big four agenda

Interior Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiang’i who has been recently promoted to a de-facto Prime Minister has told the National Assembly how President Uhuru Kenyatta is planning to achieve the development agenda.

Dr Fred Matiang’i being among the keynote speakers to the National Assembly leaders retreat , he has stated key areas which the government intends to work on in order to achieve its agenda.

He has claimed that the key issues the government is working on to facilitate delivery of development projects include silo mentality, inadequate public participation, sub-optimal use/loss of funds & weak performance management.

“Thanks to new coordination framework established by H.E. President Uhuru Kenyatta through Exec. Order No. 1 of 2019, the Cabinet Committee has unlocked bottlenecks in various national Govt. flagship development projects, including roads, dams, and hospitals,” Dr Fred Matiang’i has insisted.
