Matiang’i imposes new rules to Motor Vehicles with a 14 Day ultimatum period

Interior Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiang’i has today imposed new rules which must be adhered to by motor vehicles owners.

In a meeting with the National Transport and Safety Authority(NTSA) Dr Fred Matiang’i has called for new laws on cars involved in accidents.

Dr Fred Matiang’i has instructed all towing and recovering vehicles to obtain new inspection stickers from NTSA within the next 14 days.

Dr Fred Matiang’i has justified his move by stating that this measure is aimed at cushioning motor vehicle owners from secondary damages and risks occasioned by inept recovery after accidents.

To Driving schools Dr Fred Matiang’i has directed the NTSA to conduct fresh revalidation of all driving schools in the country by July 1, 2019. But to those who fail to honor the call or fail to meet the required standards, Dr Fred Matiang’i has called for revoking of their training licenses.
