Mr. Kutuny said that ODM leader has been in government for less than a year, yet he has taken development projects worth over sh 10 billion to his Nyanza political base.

“Raila has been in government for ten months and you can see the goodies,” he said. The MP claimed that Jubilee is divided along ideological lines and declared that he belongs to President Uhuru Kenyatta’s faction of the party.

Mr. Kutuny, who was speaking during an NTV talk show on Tuesday night claimed that the president’s faction represented good intentions for the country. Mr. Kutuny accused Ruto of not having the nation’s interest at heart and warned that there would be dire consequences should he continue with his attacks on the handshake while neglecting his region.

“Stop attacking Raila in the morning and in the evening attacking Uhuru Kenyatta. If you and Uhuru united after 2007 when houses were burned down and bloodshed, then what is stopping President Kenyatta and Raila from uniting to send you home,” Kutuny posed.

Kutuny also called on the Government to reinstate the security detail for Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu, Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika and MPs Kimani Ichung’wah (Kikuyu), Kimani Ngunjiri (Bahati) and Alice Wahome (Kandara).

“Even though they appear to have decamped to the Opposition, they are still elected leaders serving their people,” said Kutuny.

However, Kimilili MP Didmas Barasa countered, saying that Kutuny was being sponsored by a powerful senior official in the Office of the President.

According to Barasa, the group has only one objective; to stop Deputy President William Ruto from ascending to the top seat.

Kuttuny has been highly condemned by the Tanga Tanga team for openly attacking the deputy president William Ruto despite coming from the Dp’s backyard. Kuttuny is one the vocal Rift Valley MPs who have been on the forefront together with his Nandi Hills counterpart Alfred Keter, pouring cold water on Deputy President’s 2022 presidential ambitions.

As a result of these frequent attacks on the region’s boss, Kuttuny as observed by many risks losing his parliamentary seat in 2022 with former Agriculture minister Kipruto Arap Kirwa who is now a strong Ruto’s supporter strategizing himself to take over from Joshua.
