Youth brings with it a fearlessness and creative freedom that can offer some invaluable lessons for the wider industry

How each person’s creativity impacts them is specific to them. It doesn’t have to change the world. It can be very personal in the form of deep insight or influence localized changes, for better or worse.

Not every good idea will have its time in the sun. Your exposure, luck, skill, timing and connections matter more to your impact on the world than your creativity.

Young people are idealistic. They have less worldly experience so they are more willing to try new things and new thoughts than the older ones.

A creative Kenyan youth has come out to shame a local media house for stealing his show idea dubbed “Nisaamehe”.

Victor Kisia says, he pitched his show idea to KTN but they rejected it the last minute after subjecting him to lots of commitments.

“KTN Kenya is this fair!!! After subjecting me to lots of commitments of redoing the pilot of this show with adequate lighting and makeup,After spending my resources and time to do what you guys asked me to do!!Only to reject the last minute then a year and half later you guys just decided to come with your own host!,changed few things and the tittle of the show but My content remained the same!! Why are we killing the young producers?? You guys should instead use this innovat” he wrote.

He went a head to say he submitted his proposal way back in 2016 to KTN which was rejected only to steal the idea in 2019.

The show which is aired at KTN Burudini every Sunday is currently hosted by Antony Ndiema.
