Machakos County Governor Alfred Mutua has hit out at those corrupt leaders who are always claiming that they are being implicated wrongly in matters corruption.
Not Mentioning names, he cited saying that the leaders should stop complaining but instead take time and get to the bottom of the matter and find out why their names keep popping up whenever a corruption scandal emerges.
In his statement he said, “There are people who keep saying they are being accused falsely every time a corruption case pops up, why you?”
In addition, he gave an example with a company where there’s a worker who cannot be trusted and is known for stealing everything and every time. He further added saying that the same case happens every time a corruption scandal comes up and these people’s names are mentioned its because they have a history of stealing public resources.
His statement appeared to pointing at Deputy President whose name has been mentioned in most of the corruption scandals together with his allies, with the most recent being the loss of Ksh 21 billion meant for the construction of Arror and Kimwarer Dam which saw Treasury Cabinet Secretary Henry Rotich record a statement with the DCI.
