Hilarious reactions of Kenyans to rain

It is almost confirmed that we won’t miss the rains..after about three days of heavy downpour, sijui weatherman ataambia watu nini? That weatherman guy has been lying to us that it won’t rain

One of the most ironical things about Kenyans rains is that no matter how much we wait for it, we are always caught unprepared ever always.

At one such time of unpreparedness, there was a man in Budalangi Western Kenya whose house properties were swept away by floods, so sad This is how it happened.

The man saw floods coming and he sought safety on a tree near his mud house.

The floods were so raging that they soaked the mud and swept the lower parts of the wall away.

The floods started sweeping the man’s properties one by one. From a tree, the man could see his items come with floods and disappear.

He watched the TV come then disappear, the table and all the things that were in the sitting room. He then new the next place the floods would sweep was his bedroom.

He was right, the blankets came and also disappeared, next was the mattress, rest of the bedding and finally the bed. What startled the man, however, was something he had hidden under the bed, busaa.

He saw it come slowly in a jar,, slowly but this one, he couldn’t just let it go. Once the jar neared him, he jumped into the floods’ Afadhali kukufa ukiwa mlevi’

The floods are here again and before things start being swept, kiatu yangu iliingiza maji leo asubuhi tao. Leo tu niligundua kiatu yangu imetoboka chini baada ya kuingiza maji .

Just today, I realized that one of my shoes is leaking from the sole, thanks to the rainy season. Were it not for the rains, my shoe sole would probably have torn off without me knowing.

Another problem we have with rains especially when caught off guard is how people poke our eyes with umbrellas. Damn it’s like a show.

Nairobians have not been expecting the rains because we have been so busy listening and believing lies from the weatherman.

Heavy rainfall of more than 30mm expected over Western Kenya, Lake Victoria Basin regions, Central Highlands including parts of Nairobi, Southern and Central Rift Valley regions on 22nd and 23rd April, 2019 #EasterMonday #EarthDay #Easter #Kenya— Kenya Met Department (@MeteoKenya) April 22, 2019

The mets had initially lied to us that the rains are stuck in Tanzania. This made Kenyan to wage an online war with Tanzanians

One of most interesting things about rains here in the city is about hawkers when at begins to rain. Every Hawker starts selling umbrellas

And then we have these facebook guys who mark themselves safe from floods yet in Western Kenya yet they are i their bedsitters in Githurai,,what do they smoke?
