The embattled lawyer Miguna Miguna has directed his effort to the deputy president William over the utterances that he made over the weekend targeting the luo community.
The DP had said that the luo community is known of their behaviour of uprooting railway lines.
his sentiments weren’t taken easily as section of leaders have requested the DP to offer public apology.
Miguna has said that hen the Kenya-Uganda railway line was uprooted in Kibera after Kibaki and Uhuru stole the 2007 election, Ruto was one of the ODM Pentagon members who led the protests.
“William Ruto must publicly apologize for stating, falsely, that Luos uproot railways and destroy property. When the Kenya-Uganda railway line was uprooted in Kibera after Kibaki and Uhuru stole the 2007 election, Ruto was one of the ODM Pentagon members who led the protests,” he tweeted.
Kericho Senator Aaron Cheruiyot has come out strongly to defend Deputy President William Ruto against accusations of hate speech following his recent thin veiled attack on a section of leaders in the country.
Addressing a public forum over the weekend, the DP said the political behavior of some leaders were well known and there was no need to entertain them in government.
However, speaking to NTV on Tuesday, April 23, Senator Cheruiyot said Ruto’s sentiments were taken out of context and exaggerated to taint his image as spreading hate among communities in the country.
He called on political tolerance across the Country.
