Much to the delight of Kenyan women, Nairobi Women Representative Esther Passaris introduced her dreadlocked brother on Monday morning.
In her post, Passaris narrated how she had forced her younger brother to shave off his dreadlocks when he expressed interest in joining the matatu business.
“Justice Lenaola’s apology reminds me of the time my Rastafarian younger brother wanted a matatu business and I made him cut his dreads out of ignorance.
“Fast forward to my last visit; he made me wear his dreads in “revenge”. I’ve come to learn that people are different, and it’s okay. We must learn to co-exist,” she wrote.
Passaris was referring to Supreme Court Judge Isaac Lenaola’s apology to an intersex person for holding him in a male cell when hearing his appeal at the High Court in Machakos.
Lenaola was speaking during the release of a report by a task force on intersex people in Nairobi last week.
However, Passaris’ message seemed momentarily forgotten as Kenyans were quick to note that her brother is a hunk with some ladies even enquiring whether he’s single.
