Jabidii cries out his heart-breaking musical journey

The musical journey is not as easy as many views. The upcoming artistes think that the moment they produce a song, they will immediately swim in lavish life. It is not the case as proved by the ‘vimbada hitmaker, Jabidii.

During an interview, Jabidii proved how he was discouraged when he joined the music industry. He got saved in the year 2013 at Nairobi Chapel. Before being into salvation, he had been discouraged in life after witnessing his fellow agemates having made up in life while all he thought about was being into marriage.

Before getting a breakthrough, in the music industry, he used to be in shoe business. He was selling shoes at Adams arcade from the year 2015 till 2017. He made his first song ‘Shoot satan’ in the year 2017, that made him quit his shoe business.

Unfortunately, music didn’t pay that he ended up living in the studio after he was locked out of his house after failing to meet the sh. 4500 rent. He was afraid of going back to his business because he had already flossed of his friend that he was fully into music.

His friends would watch him on TV hence believing that he had really made it in life. Little did they know that he was not earning any amount of money. After life becoming so harsh for him, he swallowed his pride and went back to his business.

Every time customers would come to him and ask whether he was the Jabidi of ‘shoot satan’, he would deny. He would tell them that he is just a look alike.

A friend once told him to try the odi dance in his new song and that’s how the video went viral and made him more famous. He once received a call from a person who was to pay him for a performance which he charged sh. 15,000. That is how he made his first money out of music.

This enabled him meet his rent and all his upkeep. It became a breakthrough to his success in music.
