‘Chairman amewasili,’ Jaymo Ule msee makes a comeback at Homeboyz Radio

Days after calling it quits for greener pastures at NRG radio, Jaymo Ule Msee has made a major comeback on the suspended Homeboyz Radio Show “Mtaani”.

On Monday, Homeboyz Radio shared a short video on Instagram announcing the comeback of Jaymo Ule Msee, with an emotional Miss Katiwa unable to control her tears.

Miss Katiwa who is a co-host to the show was in total shock upon learning that Jaymo who had parted ways with the station after two years is back.

“Chairman amewasili!!!  mliteta na tumewaskiza! amerudi nyumbani  ” reads a post from Homeboyz.

Jaymo’s U-turn comes at a time his other co-host Didge remain suspended over comments he made on slain Moi University Student Ivy Wangechi.

On April 10, the Homeboyz Radio Management issued an official statement suspending Didge describing his action as insensitive broadcasting.

His words also saw ‘Mtaani Homeboyz” removed from the stations schedule with the management launching an internal investigation with immediate effect.

“Mtaani is an important part of our schedule and provides our listeners with an opportunity to engage in real time on real issues. We are cognizant of our responsibilities as broadcasters which is why we are taking these measures,” the statement said.

On April 8th, Jaymo teamed up with Mwalimu Rachael to host #NRGTransit, a show that runs from 3-7pm every Monday –Friday.

“New Home starting tomorrow …Monday to Friday 3-7pm with the great @theemwalimurachelpale @nrgradioke .. #nrgtransit …Let’s do this!” reads Jaymo Ule Msee’s post on Instagram.

However, it’s not yet clear if Jaymo will be hosting two shows; that’s NRG Transit and Mtaani Homeboyz.
