A governor has promised to punish errant nurses who watched a woman give birth on the cold floor as they sipped their tea away.
Through a disturbing video, Machakos County Governor Dr Alfred Mutua, said he had learnt of the vice which happened in Athi River’s Shalom Hospital, and was following up with relevant authorities.
In an earlier tweet, the governor noted that the hospital was a private one and not under the County Government’s watch.
However, in his latest tweet, governor Mutua says regardless of whether Shalom falls under his administration or otherwise, the negligent nurses have to face the full wrath of the law.
