Barclays Bank on Fire After Fake Cash Bust!

A Barclays Bank caught fire and got burnt before fire fighters came into the rescue.

The Muranga Barclays Bank branch is said to have caught fire shortly before 1pm and a smoke was billowing from inside the bank.

This comes hot on the heels of an incident where over Sh2 billion in “fake” foreign currency was nabbed in Nairobi’s Queensway Barclays branch on allegations of money laundering.

Detectives questioned the Bank’s management and also arrested the suspects behind the conspiracy.
