Not everyone likes his style and his fans defend him saying that his music is only for those who can relate with his content.
Lava Lava has severally been compared with the rest of Wasafi Artists and some feel that he is not as popular because his music is still not the the standards that other Wasafi artists are on.
A couple weeks ago, some had trolled him saying that Mbosso who was signed after his has made more progress than he has.
In response, Lava Lava stated that he believes that everyone is different and the journey of two people cannot quite be the same.
He also made it clear that it does not intimidate him because he believes they will all reach their destination at their designed time.
Some of his fans say that they are confused since he is always complaining in his songs yet his fans prefer that his songs which are so full of hype and life.
Lava Lava has dominated the local industry but fans think that he has no sense of direction in making it at the international level.
Fans have challenged him to do more and not just wait and expect the record label to put the effort in growing his music career.
Despite his critics, his die hard fans believe that the singer has made progress and will pierce through and become big in the International circles.
