Raila Condoles the Moi Family

Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has sent his condolences to the Moi family after the demise of the former President’s eldest son Jonathan Moi.

Jonathan, a celebrated rally driver and farmer succumbed to cancer related complications on Friday.

Raila sent his condolences and those of the Odinga family to Moi family.

“My family and that of Jaramogi Oginga Odinga send deeply felt condolences to President Daniel arap Moi following the death of Jonathan Moi earlier today. We wish strength to the former President and his family to bear the loss. May God grant peace to the family at this sad moment.” Raila said on social media.

President Uhuru Kenyatta described Jonathan as a humble, kind, generous and courageous person.

Former Vice President in the Moi government Musalia Mudavadi, said his family was praying for the Mois during this trying moment.
