Man United open to listen to summer offers for 25-year-old

Manchester United’s season is still in the balance. After being dumped out of the Champions League, all the Red Devils have left to play for is a spot in the top four.

With a huge summer ahead, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has to shape this squad into one that suits his United image. That’s easier said than done, though, and some players will have to leave in order to keep the books in check.

It looks as though Ander Herrera is to leave, now, another big name has been linked with an Old Trafford departure. According to the Daily Telegraph, the club are prepared to listen to offers for the 25-year-old forward Romelu Lukaku, with the Belgium international ‘open’ to a move away.

Inter Milan, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich are the clubs who have shown an interest in United’s #9, which tells you everything you need to know about his talents.

The Lukaku situation is a tough one. He’s a brilliant goalscorer when fully fit and firing and his skill-set certainly suits Premier League football. There is a problem with his hold-up ability and first-touch, though, which is majorly concerning given the fact that that area of his game just doesn’t seem to improve.

If the price is right I’d sell him. Honestly, Marcus Rashford is the future of this club and if we can sign a reasonably priced back-up centre-forward, then that certainly feels like the way to go.
