The ‘China love’ hitmaker, Victoria Kimani has been receiving trolls over her dress code. Many are times she has appeared on shows and concerts dressed in ways which were described to be indecent and half naked.
During an interview, she addressed the issue. On being asked why she dresses indecently, she answered that her dressing is not indecent since that how she has been dressing since her childhood.
She said that her mother is the greatest inspiration to her dress code. From her childhood photos, she said that she always see that her mother used to dress her in similar clothes to those she recently puts on. She would even be in bracelets and rings. Victoria described her mother as a fashionista.
Her explanation comes after she was roasted by Kenyans after she attended Akothee’s charity concert dressed in very skimpy clothes. She later visited children at Kibera and she was still in her usual booty shorts.
Victoria warned idlers to mind their business since no one can change who she is. She said that people are too quick to judge without having reason to defend themselves.
On the Kibera visit, she said that she was there severally and had already planned what she was to wear in all her days in Kenya. She said that there was a day she appeared in jeans and t-shirt but no one would say that she was decently dressed but people will always be quick to attack her when they feel she is not decent.
