It is normal for a man to have beards, as they transit from childhood to adulthood. It shows that a boy is transitioning to a man. However, recent research has unveiled shocking details on men with beards.
A new study was carried on on 18 men with facial hair(beards), aged between 18 and76, and 30 dogs of various breeds was conducted to determine their microbial counts
The results revealed that the males had high bacterial count than the dogs! Oh my, they are worse than Dogs.
The research found all of the bearded men showed high bacterial counts – half of which were hazardous to human health.
while a number of the dogs tested proved to have lower levels of microbes with only 23 out of 30 dogs showing high counts and the remainder with moderate levels.
“The researchers found a significantly higher bacterial load in specimens taken from the men’s beards compared with the dogs’ fur.”
