PHOTOS: Former Scotland church that was turned into a night club

An old Scotland church has now been turned into a night club. The pulpit is now the DJ’s booth and is currently believed to be a very popular pub and restaurant.

Clubs are believed to be places where all the worldly pleasures can be found, alcohol, the fine girls good music and all the hype.

I have heard of some clubs and churches being located on the same apartment/building but not under the same roof or at least we can say that it is an old church but would you think of it as weird?

For Christians a church is a house of God that deserves all the respect and honour. Especially in an African setting, how you dress to church also counts and there are some things you just would not do in a church.

The existence of this club tells us how much times are changing and also factors in the fact that people have different perceptions and beliefs too.The club was established back in 2004.

In an Africa setting perhaps this would be termed as unacceptable. Not just for Africans but staunch believers of Christ in general.

Just like any club, it gets too busy over the weekends but they say it is a pleasant place.

This is however not the only church in Scotland that has been restructured into something else.

There are many church building in Scotland, but when you take a closer look, you might be surprised by what you find when you step inside.

Some former churches in Scotland have been put to completely different use since the congregation has move on, and offer something else entirely in these grand spaces.

Some of the churches in Scotland have been turned into;

1. Museums and visitor centres

2. Shops, cafes and restaurants

3. Activity centres

4. Wedding, music and events venues

5. Cinemas, casinos and bingo

6. Pubs, bars and clubs

 🤔 Somewhere in Scotland, they turned an old church into a nightclub. The Dj Booth is at the pulpit. They even kept the windows (for character, I guess).
