Man Utd Have Agreed One Thing With Paul Pogba Amid Real Madrid Transfer Interest

Manchester United star Pogba is a top Real Madrid transfer target ahead of the summer window, with Zinedine Zidane eager to land his compatriot at the end of the current campaign.

It has been a mixed season for Paul Pogba so far, with the World Cup winner enduring a rough start under Jose Mourinho.

However, the France international has improved for Manchester United in recent months – ever since Mourinho’s sacking and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s appointment back in December.

Real are eyeing a summer transfer as a result of his form with Zidane doing nothing to dampen talk of a move to the Bernabeu.

“He’s a midfielder who knows how to defend and how to attack,” he said earlier this month.

“But he is not my player, he is at Manchester.

“He has always said that, after Manchester, Madrid has always interested him. So when his experience at Manchester ends, why not come here to Madrid?”

And Spanish newspaper Marca claim United and Pogba have agreed to talk about the player’s future in a month time.

The Red Devils are hopeful that their star midfielder will stay at the club.

United want to tie the midfielder down to a new contract with Solskjaer also mulling over whether to make him club captain next season.

Marca add that Real are looking at alternatives to Pogba should United prove stubborn negotiators.

But Zidane wants to overhaul his midfield, meaning a transfer assault of some kind is to be expected.
