Kenyans on twitter have criticize the move by Kenya Film boss Ezekiel Mutua to ban song dubbed Taka Taka which he terms lacks morals.
Mutua said, Broadcasting, exhibition, distribution (including online) or possession of the song ‘Takataka’ by Alvin aka Alvindo is a criminal offense.
“The song Takataka is characterised by crude language that objectifies women and glorifies hurting them as normal reaction to rejection of overtures by men,” KFCB CEO Dr Ezekiel Mutua said.
However netizens feels his is too late since the song has been on the air play for quite sometime.
