They said like father, like son.

Already the world is seeing how special Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. is going to be in future.

Not all sons are like their fathers. But Cristiano Ronaldo’s eldest son has quite admirable skills that is only seen in his father.

And wouldn’t you know it, he scored four goals on his debut for Juventus’ Under-9s back in September 2018.

Then in December, Cristiano Jr. was seen posing with a trophy that he had won with the youth team.

There may be extra pressure on the youngster to succeed in football but the early signs are positive.

And it seems as though confidence is no problem where the eight-year-old is concerned.

“He says he is going to be better (than me), but I think it’s difficult,” Ronaldo said in an interview.

Now that would be something.

And the latest reports on Cristiano Jr.’s development are very, very exciting.

Currently playing for Juve’s youth team in a tournament in Madeira, Portugal, his father’s birthplace, he scored seven goals in a game against Maritimo China – in the first half.

The report comes from AS, who claim Cristiano Jr., who wears the No.7 shirt, is ‘showing that he’s a chip off the old block’.

That may very well be the case. He went on to score five goals against Camacha, meaning he has scored 12 goals in the first two games of the tournament.

Juventus’ Under-9s beat Maritimo China 25-0 and Camacha 15-1, so the competition isn’t very strenuous.

But in front of his grandmother and aunt, Cristiano Jr. is doing his family proud.

A future Ballon d’Or winner? Who knows.
