9 Social Media Habits that aren’t Good for your Relationship

Instagram is  popular as a sharing community of photos and videos in Kenya —let’s face it—its a lot of fun.

But it can also be a little tricky. At least, if you want to avoid looking like a hipster wannabe, there is an art to it.

Some social media habits can be a turn off for the man in your life. If single, overdoing it may cause potential bae to run for the hills instead of cozying up to your love. These are the 9 online habits to we recommend avoiding if you want that guy to stick around. And we bet you didn’t even think they were a big deal.

 1. Selfie Overload

Listen, we get it–there won’t always be great lighting and the perfect angle when you’re snapping a selfie, but posting every single selfie you take (and the outtakes) could do some damage to your image to potential suitors..

5. Messages To A Minimum.

There is a difference between keeping your answers short and sweet versus and giving responses too short to be considered a conversation. Responding with one word answers like “k” or “cool” gives an air of disinterest.

6. Chill Out On the Inspo

Everyone loves a feel-good post or quote, but back-to-back inspiring sayings are a definite turn off .

7. Spellcheck Please!

If your messages are filled with misspellings, blaming auto correct may not get you off the hook. You are an educated woman who did language school most of your childhood, so show this man you can use proper grammar in text message and avoid being left unread.

8. Keep the CAPS

Yes we know using caps helps to exaggerate a point over text message, but sometimes too many phrases in all caps can be a bad thing.

9. Not being real.

Yes, there are hundreds of instagrammers with awe-inspiring profiles living fabulous lives, but don’t play games. Just be yourself and find a dude who likes you the way you are (and vice versa). Now that’s good advice.

It’s not the end of the world if you find you’ve got some bad habits to correct. But don’t linger; some of these mistakes can cost you big on the follower front and more importantly relationship wise.
