Uhuru-linked media set to launch a face lift

K24 TV, under the Mediamax company hub whose ownership is linked with President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto has st out to launch new studios.

This, according to the Business Today is set to occur on April 26.

The studios located on the 4th floor of DSM Place along Kijabe Street in Nairobi have been undergoing renovation since last year partly to redesign them and update equipment.

The station, in its bid to compete with rival stations such as Citizen, KTN and NTV is also going on with the unveiling of its anchors.

It earlier poached Betty Kyalo, from KTN, who has been put at the prime of weekend news and night show, Weekend with Betty.

It is further expected to bring on board former Citizen TV anchor Anne Kiguta, who resigned from the Royal Media Services six months ago.
