Nadia Mukau aka Kenyan sweetheart has finally responded to trolls by her ‘haters’.
The Swahili word ‘Usanii ni gharama’ has never been wrong and celebrities has to live with it.
Body shaming has been rampant in Kenya where people we assume to be ‘haters’ or ‘confused’ fans just type nasty things in people’s social media accounts.
Nadia Mukami for the past week, has been a victim after she cut her hair and made it blonde.
Netizens accused her of copying Tanzania’s Nandy and urged her to keep her true self.
After the incident, she disabled her comment section on Instagram and no one was able to comment on her posts.
She has now come out to address this issue which has been ‘eating’ her from within.
Is there a big deal when people shave their hair?
“Celebrities/singers/poets/comedians are human beings tooย
Before you fill a comment section with insults, just know a celebrity is a human being too,” furious Nadia said
On people giving their opinions, she urged them to do it diligently without body shaming.
Before you troll someone, give it a thought too
Give your opinion without necessarily pinning someone down and body shamingย
In her post, she has changed from the blonde hair to black.
Is social media comments costing someone’s lifestyle?
