The Education Cabinet Secretary (CS) Professor George Magoha will today, 15th April, release the 2019/2020 university and college student placement results.
2018 candidates who scored C+ and above in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exam were qualified to apply for degree courses in Public and Private Universities.
The announcement will finally see the candidates join their respective universities across the country to pursue various courses.
The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) had previously opened its online application system, on 6th February 2019, for the 2018 KCSE candidates and other qualified Kenyans to send their application for the placement to degree, diploma, certificate or artisan courses.
Candidates who scored C and C – qualified for diploma courses in National Polytechnics and other Technical and Vocational Education and Training institutions. Candidates that scored D or D+ are eligible to apply for certificate/craft courses in a process where the Government seeks a 100 percent enrollment.
The candidates who scored D – or E will qualify for artisan courses in National Polytechnics and other Technical and Vocational Education and Training institutions.
The 2019/2020 enrollment has assured Kenya’s youth of empowering them through skills irrespective of their academic performance.
