(Video)Wanyama’s finish goal against Huddersfield compared to Messi finish

Victor Wanyama and Lucas Moura added their names to the list of first-time scorers at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.Footage of the goal shows what quality the Kenyan put into his strike.

In the clip, the ball is played from the left wing by Ben Davies.

It comes to the feet of Fernando Llorente but he is under pressure from the Huddersfield defender, his touch too heavy.

The forward has support, though, from the midfielder running into the penalty box onto the loose ball.

Wanyama’s goal comes as Wanyama flicks the ball beyond Terence Kongolo, with only the keeper in his way.

And the 27-year-old kept his composure to move the ball away from Huddersfield’s diving goalkeeper.

The 60,000-seater stadium then erupts as the home side celebrate their lead.

But they were not the only ones celebrating.

The Spurs faithful on social media heaped praise on the defensive midfielder for his goal-scoring run.

“He barely scores but when he does it’s absolute beauty,” one supporter said.
