The brutal murder of Moi University Medical Student Ivy Wangechi continues to elicit mixed reactions among Kenyans even as preparations for her burial and quest for justice by her family continues.
A number of theories have been developed since the unfortunate incident with malicious internet users coming up with all sorts of allegations against the slain beauty.
Among the allegations raised was that Ivy was killed by her boyfriend after she infected him with HIV. Ivy’s family have denied this claims even as it now turns out that Netizens are still spreading rumours about her death.
The latest set of rumours have seen William Ruto’s close ally and Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi mentioned.
According to a screenshot posted on Sudi’s official facebook page, it is alleged that the Late Ivy had a romantic relationship with the Vocal MP.
Sudi has now come out to clear the air on the same by issuing a detailed statement.
He has forgiven whoever is spreading such malicious information about him and the late Ivy and has termed as immoral, immature and inhuman to share such malicious information on social media.
Below is Oscar Sudi’s Detailed Statement:
“Given that today is a Palm Sunday, i choose to forgive whoever did this. It’s immoral, immature and inhuman to share such malicious crap on social media even as the family is grieved by the gruesome murder of Ivy. Furthermore, it’s cruel, callous and barbaric to wish someone some sickness because no sane human can do so to his/her fellow being.
As a politician, I am used to such cyber bullying but it’s more sad and painful to the family when such fabrications are spread against their bright daughter. I personally never knew Ivy but I wish to express my heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Ivy.
The Bible teaches us in the book of
Collosians 3:13 that “Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.”
