Reason Behind Herrera Rejecting United’s Lucrative £ 200,000 a week

The back and forth between Manchester United and their sensational midfielder Ander Herrera seems to have become even worse.

It is reported that Manchester United made a final bid of over £ 200,000 a week to keep Herrera, but the Spaniard wanted more money.

The 29-year-old should leave the club at the end of the season, when his contract expires. Paris Saint-Germain would be leading the match to sign a free transfer.

United opened contract negotiations with Herrera’s representatives more than 18 months ago, but little progress has been made and the players ‘camp felt that the club was giving priority to other players’ transactions during this period.

Many felt that the club was just not proactive enough in its attempt to retain Herrera, but it is believed the club made a final bid worth more than £ 200,000 a week to try to keep the midfielder.

Herrera currently earns around £ 100,000 a week after bonuses.
