With the way dating has become in this day and age, it’s no wonder a lot of us choose to remain single.

Better being single than have to deal with the BS that a lot of men have nowadays. Women are not asking for too much when they say they want to be swept off their feet. Yes, we want the romance we see in the movies and that we read in romance novels. We want our men to behave like they did back in our parents’ days.

It’s the simple gestures that matter the most and not all this unnecessary noise men make about what they have. These are some old dating habits that should be brought back, screw this millennial love.

1. Love letter writing

Yes, so cheesy, but remember the days before phones and emails when we would send letters to our beloved with our perfume splashed all over the paper?

4. Make sure she gets home well

Oh, this one. These days a man will expect you to meet up with him not caring how you will get to the destination or how you will get back to your house. So shameful.

5. Disco

We are sure your parents have told you f their ‘disco’ days, what we now have as ‘dunda’ or the rave. Dancing is not what it used to be back in the day. It was respectful and innocent and people actually went out to have a god time, not floss about what bottle they have on their table. When a man wants to take you out to the club nowadays, they almost always want one thing. We just want a break from having men grind their private parts on our butts, please.

6. Actually dressing up

Gone are the days when someone would make some effort in at least trying to look good for a date. Is it so hard to practice good grooming just for that day at least? Yes, we mean that you should put on your Sunday best for us, duh!
