Kenyans have turned the guns on opinionated State House Digital Strategist, Dennis Itumbi, moments after two Cuban doctors were abducted in Mandera and a policeman guarding them shot dead.
Wednesday, April, 10 Dennis Itumbi dismissed a report by United States that indexed Kenya to be a hot-spot for abductions and terror attacks.
In the report, Washington announced a travel advisory to its citizens against visiting the areas they had marked as hot-spots.
Some other 35 countries were listed in the report.
“The new “K” indicator is part of our ongoing commitment to provide clear and comprehensive travel safety information to US citizens so they can make informed travel decisions,” the US foreign office said in a statement.
Among East African countries, only Tanzania, Rwanda and Burundi were spared from the list.
The rest of the countries including Ethiopia and South Sudan were listed as high-risk areas.
This happened after an American tourist was abducted and released after a five-day ordeal with her abductors.
Kenya has yet to find an Italian lady, Ms Silvia Constanca Romano, who was abducted in Kilifi County on November 20, 2018.
