Real Madrid Set Gareth Bale Transfer Fee But Are Ready To Negotiate On ONE Condition

Gareth Bale’s time at Real has turned sour in recent months, with the Wales forward cutting an increasingly unhappy figure in the Spanish capital.

When Santiago Solari was in charge, Bale spent more time on the bench than he would’ve liked and it was expected the return of Zinedine Zidane would see Bale in the starting line-up again.

The former Tottenham man started and scored in Zidane’s first game back but has seen his form slump once again.

Real fans are also not happy with Bale, as many believe he’s not fully committed to the club or the Spanish culture since his move there in 2013.

And according to Spanish outlet AS, Real president Florentino Perez has set Bale’s price at €130m (£112m).

AS also state that the club feel the price is fair, considering today’s market and the amount that young players like Kylain Mbappe and Ousmane Dembele have been sold for in recent years.

Real Madrid, however, are willing to negotiate on that price but only if a swap deal can be discussed with a potential buyer.

The final figure, though, would depend on which country he moves to.

Bale has been linked with a move back to England, including his former side Tottenham.

Tottenham but reluctant to let him go six years ago but had no choice after Bale stated his intentions to move.

The north London club sold him for £90m which, at the time, was the most expensive transfer of all time.

Manchester United were linked with Bale’s signature when he left for the Spanish capital and the speculation about a move to Old Trafford hasn’t let up since.

During Bale’s time with Real, he’s scored 102 goals in 227 games and has won 14 trophies.

The 29-year-old has scored some incredibly important goals for the club as well, including three in four Champions League finals.

He also scored an incredible solo goal against El Clasico rivals Barcelona in the Copa Del Rey final in 2014.

Bale is the highest-scoring British forward in La Liga’s history with 78 goals.
