What are the possible destinations for Real Marid star Bale?

Since Zinedine Zidane came back to Real Madrid, things have not been the same again for Gareth Bale in the field and even about his future at the club where he has seen and bagged all that a player could.

But as things look, Gareth Bale is reportedly set to leave Real Madrid this summer after six years at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Word over has been around that the player, his agent and the club have agreed to have him go and wit respect to his contribution to the Bernabeau giants, the talisman will choose a place of his wish.

Despite finding the net 14 times in 38 appearances for Los Blancos this season, doubts have been cast over the 29-year-old’s future in Madrid with fans jeering the winger in recent weeks over his performances.

According to Spanish outlet AS, Real boss Zinedine Zidane’s plans to sell the winger as part of a summer overhaul that is expected to see up £430m worth of talent leave the Spanish giants.

Madrid’s sporting director Jose Angel Sanchez reportedly met with Bale’s agents on Monday to discuss the player’s future.

Despite detailing the club’s plans to sell the Wales international during the summer, it is understood that Bale will be allowed to which club he wants to move to.

Here are five highly potential destinations for the four-time Champions League winner.

Manchester United

It’s starting to look like United are going to be very busy this summer with several incomings and outgoings expected at the club.

Ander Herrera, Juan Mata and Antonio Valencia are all expected to leave Old Trafford as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to mark his stamp on the squad.

United have been linked to Bale in previous windows and the Red Devils could be set to revive their interest in the player as they look to add more firepower and pace to their attack traits the Welsh winger has in abundance.

With Madrid thought to be lining up a move for Paul Pogba, it’s possible that the Spanish giants might try to use Bale to loosen United’s grip on the midfielder.

Tottenham

Bale is well-known among Spurs fans after spending six years in North London before sealing an £85 million move to the Bernabeu in 2013.

Initially joining the North London club as teenager, Bale went on to score 42 goals in 146 Premier League appearances as he established himself as one of the league’s best players.

The Welshman’s best season in North London cam in the 2012-13 season when he scored 21 times on his way to being named Premier League player of the season.

Six seasons after leaving Spurs, Bale’s return to the team would be a welcome one among fans as Mauricio Pochettino’s side look to challenge for the league title.

Bayern Munich

Although a return to England is thought to be the most likely scenario for Bale, there are some suggestions he could be heading elsewhere in Europe.

German giants Bayern Munich could look to lure the Welsh winger to the Bundesliga as Niko Kovac prepares his team for next season.

With Arjen Robben set to leave Bayern at the end of the season and Franck Ribery expected to follow, Bale could be just man to give the German much-needed pace and experience on the wings.

Chelsea

As things currently stand, Chelsea has no need of wingers with Eden Hazard, Willian, Pedro and Callum Hudson-Odoi among those already at the club.

Despite the abundance of talented wide players available to Maurizio Sarri, some potential outgoings could tempt the Italian to make a move for the Real Madrid man.

With increasing reports superstar winger Hazard will be quitting Stamford Bridge for the Bernabeu this summer, Chelsea could turn to Bale as a replacement for the talismanic Belgian.

However, a move to West London could also be scuppered if Chelsea’s impending transfer ban is upheld.

Inter Milan

Inter know exactly what Bale is capable of after the winger scored a hat-trick against them in the Champions League in 2010.

Memories of experiencing the Welshman at his devastating best could tempt the Italian giants to try to bring him to the San Siro in an attempt to challenge Juventus in Serie A.
