Pogba Give Details How United Will Comeback Against Barcelona

Paul Pogba states that Manchester United is ready to face Barcelona since they know exactly their opponent’s ‘flaws’ and will exploit them in their return leg at Camp Nou.

The Red Devils produced a solid display against a below-par Barcelona in Wednesday night’s first leg at Old Trafford and were applauded by the home supporters for their efforts.

But a Luke Shaw own goal in the 12th-minute was enough for Barcelona to claim a 1-0 victory in England and set United the daunting task of producing a miracle comeback at Camp Nou next Tuesday.

More worrying, though, was the fact United failed to get a single shot on target for the first time since March 2005 in the Champions League.

However, Pogba remains bullish over their chances of causing an upset at Barcelona.

“It was a good game, obviously we’re playing against Barcelona, one of the best teams in the world,” said Pogba, according to Goal.

“But we gave them some problems as well, they gave us some problems but we know where we can hurt them.

“Now it’s one leg gone, we have the other one and we’re going to give everything in this one. We’re going to do everything we can to make it happen and we believe it.

“They didn’t really have a lot of chances, maybe one when David [De Gea] made a great save. But after that, they weren’t that dangerous, not a lot of chances.”

On whether he was surprised to see so many flaws from Barcelona, Pogba said: “That’s what we saw in the videos.

“We know that they are a very, very strong team offensively. One of the best in the world of course. But all teams have flaws. We know what their flaws are so we’re going to target that next game.”

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side will first take on West Ham United in a Premier League match on Saturday before travelling to Barcelona.
