Murathe hints at Uhuru’s upcoming major Cabinet reshuffle

Former jubilee Party Interim Chairperson David Murathe has hinted at a major Cabinet reshuffle.

While appearing on KTN News in an exclusive interview with Tony Gachoka on a show dubbed KTN Point Blank, Murathe said the looming arrests and prosecution of top Government officials for corruption will trigger a major Cabinet reshuffle.

Murathe says the wheel is turning ad very soon, there will be major arrests and sackings.

He further noted that President Uhuru Kenyatta has also given the investigative agencies the go-ahead to probe and charge any State officers involved in graft “no matter how high their positions in the Jubilee administration”.

Murathe, who is an anti-Deputy President William Ruto first hit the headlines when he publicly vowed to start a “Stop Ruto movement” that is aimed at barring the DP from vying in 2022.

There has been pressure mounted on President Kenyatta to sack governmet officials involved in graft.

Ruto’s camp however believes that the war against graft targets their key man, which the President has occasionally denied.
