The 2022 political realignment is expected to shake the nation ,former Jubilee interim vice chairman David Murathe has said.
Speaking to local television, Murathe said there will be formation led by Raila Odinga.
“I also expect people like Kalonzo, Mudavadi, Gideon Moi and probably Uhuru Kenyatta to be part of this formation while William Ruto will also have his formation with the Duales, Kindikis, and Sudis of this world,”he said.
Murathe said that deputy president William Ruto is trying to revive the URP party.
“Ruto should tell us why there several people wearing URP attires written WSR,”Murathe said adding that 2022 politics will be very different.
On Tuesday, Ruto put a brave face on Citizen TV, arguing that he will contest the presidency in a Jubilee ticket, insisting that he’s out to strengthen the ruling party.
“Let’s cross the bridge when we reach there. I will first contest in the Jubilee party primaries. If I get the ticket, I will use it to run for Presidency. Hopefully the contest will br free and fair,” he said.
Dr Ruto’s allies led by Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei have in the past hinted that the DP could ditch Jubilee for an outfit formed by himself to avoid being shortchanged in Jubilee party.
