The future of DP Ruto looks brighter than before. This is after the brigadier of dynasties came together with one main agenda; to stop the hustler nation from ascending to the presidency.
Raila’s new found friendship with Uhuru and retired presidents Moi and Kibaki has been a subject of heated debate, with a section of Kenyans claiming it is a political move aimed at blocking Ruto from becoming the next president of Kenya in 2022.
Political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi wants ODM party leader Raila Odinga to immediately halt his dynasty project, which includes meeting with retired presidents and other high profile local leaders, and instead focus on Deputy President William Ruto and the hustler nation.
But Ngunyi doesn’t think Raila’s alleged conspiracy with Uhuru, Moi
Ngunyi believes Raila’s famous handshake deal with President Uhuru Kenyatta at Harambee House on March 9, 2018, and the subsequent surprise meetings with Daniel Arap Moi and Mwai Kibaki are all desperate political moves against Ruto, which will not work.
According to the controversial political analyst, Raila has abandoned the hustler nation (the poor) in
“You see, Raila was a project of the hustler nation, from Kibera to Kondele. These poor people believed he was one of them. In fact, some believed that he lived in Kibera. But now he has disowned them in
Ruto, Ngunyi continued, will consequently become the new prince of the hustler nation and will transcend to the presidency as a former chicken seller. Ngunyi used the Biblical story of David and Goliath to compare Raila and Ruto.
In this case, Raila is the Goliath and Ruto is David. “The dynasties are like Goliath and they think that this is an advantage. They do not realize that this is a heavy burden. David was seen as an underdog, but he was a trained sniper. He defeated Goliath because he played a different game,” Ngunyi argued.
Ruto is putting up mechanical and mechanism to beat on the Dynasty games. He is aware of the systems in place. He will use all means to clinch power. Don’t forget Ruto is a good student of Moi, Kibaki, Odinga, and now Uhuru Kenyatta.
He has well learned over the years what they think, operated behind the scenes and he is now ready to implement. This is in fact what is giving the dynasty nation a hard time to win over him.
Ruto has ensured he has all the kinds of men and women, including political scientist of old and new who can cultivate weak iron to be real a solid rod. Ruto is well oiled in terms of resources and plans to fight all kinds of wars ahead of him.
