Older brother William is second in line to the throne, behind his father, Prince Charles.Harry meanwhile, is fifth in line to the throne, behind his brother’s children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

If William has any more children, they will automatically overtake Harry in the line of succession.

The pair attended a number of schools in Britain and started off living at Kensington Palace in London. Both brothers ended up going to Eton, the elite private school near Windsor where many of Britain’s leading political figures were educated.

Harry ended up with two A-levels, at B and D grade, while William nabbed an A, B and a C.

The eldest prince went on to study at St Andrews University in Scotland, while Harry decided to pursue an active career in the military after finishing at Eton.

The royal brothers opened up about the tragic death of their mother, Princess Diana, in an ITV documentary.

In Diana, Our Mother: Her Life and Legacy, William and Harry revealed that they hadn’t seen their mother for weeks, but were due to see her on the day she died.

When Diana was involved in a fatal Paris car crash, on 31 August 1997, her children were just 12 and 15.

William and Harry were at Balmoral with their father, Prince Charles, when Diana died, along with her driver, Henri Paul, and her companion, Dodi Fayed.

William and Harry spoke out in the documentary about their heartbreaking final conversation with their mother.

The pair revealed that they had spoken on the phone with their mother not long before her fatal crash, but they cut the call short because the boys wanted to play.

Harry said: “I can’t really remember what I said but I regret how short the phone call was.“I’ll have to deal with that for the rest of my life.

“Not knowing that was the last time I was going to speak to my mum, how differently that conversation would have panned out if I’d had even the slightest inkling.”

And William shares his brother’s agony, saying that the final phone call “sticks in [his] mind quite heavily”.
