Former Gem MP Jakoyo Midiwo has said that Siaya senator James Orengo has bad intentions towards Raila Odinga.
Speaking to a local television,Midiwo said that ODM lost the two by election due to Orengo’s mistake that if not rectified will kill Raila political career.
“I have a tiff with Orengo and it’s not historical, because I realized he doesn’t mean well for Raila,” said Jakoyo.
In Ugenya, an area perceived to be Raila’s backyard, Movement for Democracy and Growth (MDG) party’s David Ochieng’ garnered 18, 730 votes to beat ODM’s Christopher Karan who got 14, 507 votes.
Murkomen who doubles as Majority leader in the Senate took a jibe at his colleague shortly after the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission announced ODM candidates had been vanquished in the two mini polls.
Throughout the campaign period particularly in Ugenya, ODM brigade members, most of who are local Nyanza politicians, associated the Movement for Democracy and Growth’s David Ochieng’ with Ruto.

Malindi Member of Parliament Aisha Jumwa also reacted to Orange Democratic Movement’s (ODM) loss in both Embakasi South and Ugenya constituencies by-elections.
The lawmaker noted that the wins of Embakasi South MP-elect Julius Mawathe and his Ugenya counterpart David Ochieng have sent a strong message to the ODM party.
She said Sifuna and Orengo failed the opposition after a seat in former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s home county went to an outsider.
“Kuna mabwana wakiongozwa na Sifuna na Orengo na brigedi yetu yote ya ODM si hivyo. Wakafanya kampeni Ugenya ambako Deputy President hakuwa na candidate Jubilee haikuwa na candidate lakini wanaume wote kama desturi yao wakenda kule, wakenda wakapiga maneno ya kwamba ukimpigia David Ochieng’umempigia William Ruto na ukimpigia Chris Karan umpepigia Raila Odinga.
Orengo had earlier announced that he will table a motion in parliament seeking to impeach deputy president William Ruto over gross misconduct.
