Photos: Woman behind Gor Mahia fans hooliganism finally unmasked

Photos have emerged online of woman selling what appears to be an illegal brew during a recent Kenyan Premier League game.

In one of the pictures, the woman donning a white and green dress is seen opening a bottle of clear liquid, suspected to be chang’aa.

In another picture, the same woman is seen pouring the contents from the bottle to one customer who has stretched out his hand to receive the glass.

The vendor is also seen holding some cash in her right hand.

The photos, which have been widely shared online, were taken during a league match involving Gor Mahia and Sony Sugar at the Moi Stadium in Kisumu.

These images have further heightened speculation that a section of football fans engage in drug and alcohol abuse during matches, increasing the chances of bringing the game into disrepute through crowd trouble.

Kadenge has been unwell for some time, prompting visits from friends and well-wishers, including President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga.

Kadenge is considered the most skillful footballer to have ever played for Kenya.

He featured for the national team as well as for Maragoli United and AFC Leopards as an attacking midfielder.
