Inside Hazard’s Plan to Leave Chelsea In Style

In what many may think of as a way to gladden the hearts of Chelsea fans, Hazard inflicted even more pain to them after his superb show in their game against West Ham on Monday.

Eden Hazard scored both goals of the game as Maurizio Sarri’s side made it three wins in a row in the Premier League.

The Blues capitalised on Arsenal’s defeat to Everton to boost their hopes of finishing in the top four.

Hazard’s goal in the first half served only to remind Chelsea fans of the talent they could be set to lose.

The Belgian has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid, who are reportedly prepared to offer him a six-year contract worth £350,000-per-week.

And Real’s interest in Hazard will only have increased after the way he slalomed through West Ham’s defence to open the scoring.

The 28-year-old collected the ball in West Ham’s half and proceeded to burst forward.

After breezing past Mark Noble, Hazard produced two expert touches to slip beyond two West Ham defenders and fired a shot past Lukasz Fabianski.

It was out of this world.

Hazard continued to put on a clinic, with Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher admitting at half-time that his goal only enhanced his belief that the Belgium international is the best player in the Premier League.

He produced an exquisite pass to set Callum Hudson-Odoi clear before half-time and added his second goal late on.

Chelsea were far superior to their opponents in the first 60 minutes and there’s a feeling that Sarri has found his best line-up.

Hazard and Hudson-Odoi flanked Gonzalo Higuain, while Ruben Loftus-Cheek started in midfield before being replaced in the second half by Ross Barkley.

That’s got to be a concern for Liverpool, who host Chelsea on Sunday.

West Ham are 11th in the table. Next up for Manuel Pellegrini’s side is a meeting against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Saturday.
