Watford’s epic comeback from Two Down lands them in FA Cup Final

Matt Doherty opened the scoring in the 36th minute. He headed home after a brilliant cross from Diogo Jota.

Wolves’ prolific Mexican striker Raul Jimenez doubled his side’s lead just after the hour mark with a tidy finish.

Substitute Gerard Deulofeu pulled one back for Watford in stunning, stunning fashion before Troy Deeney leveled the game deep, deep into stoppage time.

The Watford skipper converted a late penalty to force extra-time.

Watford’s Spanish magician then bagged his second goal of the day in the first-half of extra time to complete a remarkable comeback.

The ‘Hornets’ will play Manchester City, who beat Brighton 1-0 on Saturday, in the FA Cup final on May 18 at Wembley Stadium.
