South Mugirango MP Sylvanus Osoro who decamped from ODM to the little known KNC, says in 2017, he ‘lost’ elections on social media but managed to win by landslide during actual elections despite being written off.
Mr Osoro says campaign methodologies have changed over time and it’s politicians live to reality for their future survival.

He was responding to the shock defeat of ODM candidates in Ugenya and Embakasi South constituencies. Before the official results were out, a section of ODM bloggers had claimed victory in the polls.
Since falling out with Mr Odinga, Osoro has been spearheading Dr Ruto’s campaigns both in Kisii and Nyamira Counties. He insists that Ruto could dethrone Raila’s influence from the region.
