Gospel musician Mr. Seed and his wife, Nimo Gachuiri welcomed their first baby, Gold Christen, during Nimo’s birthday. She narrated how challenging the whole process was. Their child’s date was way past Nimo’s due date, she was on her 42nd week of pregnancy and the only option she had was to be induced.
Her prayer was to deliver a baby normally, which it was not easy for her after she was induced. The medication didn’t work to the extent of begging the nurse to at least remove the injection on her hand so that she could at least breath for only five minutes.
The nurse declined because she had to be induced for the labor pains to take place. Finally, the labor pains came and she went to her bed and waited for the baby to come so that she could push but before she did, the nurses noticed some lines on her abdomen.
Apparently, the lines meant that the uterus was rupturing and the baby was in danger. The nurse had to call the gynecologist to help, who later told them that she has the potential of pushing, all she needed was time.
When she pushed the baby, the placenta took time to come out and this is a condition that puts the mother in danger because it causes a lot of bleeding which can cause death. For Mr. Seed, it wasn’t easy either, he had to spend the entire night with his lovely wife where he participated in rubbing her back.
When the baby was born he was so excited that he went ahead to shop for his son’s toys forgetting that the baby was only a day old. The Kumbe Kumbe hitmaker is always grateful to God that He enabled his wife to deliver normally.
He also didn’t forget the people who took their time to go visit his wife in the hospital after her safe delivery. As a parting shot, Nimo had this to tell her loving husband: “We appreciate you for all the thing you have done to us.”
