Kakamega Senator Malala claim Ruto bankrolled David Ochieng campaign

ODM party has unveiled scathing attack against deputy president William Ruto over the defeat of the ODM candidate in Ugenya by election.

Kakamega senator Cleophas Malala on a video circulating online accuse had warned Ugenya voters to be wary of the Jubilee penetration in the area using a different political party.

Malala had said that the by election wasn’t between Ochieng and Karan but Raila Odinga and William Ruto.

He states that senator Morkomen and Nandi Senator had confined in him that Ruto is behind the Ugenya by election.

He states that David Ochieng was being bankrolled by Ruto to frustrate Raila Odinga.

“Ruto is behind David Ochieng, and please dont wast your time heading to Ugenya as the deal is done,”morkomen told Malala at an airport while holding a briefcase full of money.

Malala prediction was confirmed on Friday after ODM leader Raila Odinga suffered a blow after a candidate from a rival party David Ochieng won the Ugenya by-election.

Vote tallying ended early Saturday with Ochieng’s 18,730 votes pushing him to the top.

Raila’s candidate, Christoper Karan (Orange Democratic Movement) emerged second with 14,507 votes.

ODM Secretary general Edwin Sifuna has said that that the party is greatful to the loyalist noting all isn’t lost as they have learnt a lesson.
