Boni Khalwale Faults Raila and Orengo for Rallying Luhyas to Vote

The former Kakamega senator also chimed in on the recent ODM party lose that has stirred conversations around the party’s future after the unfortunate turn of events.

“Gentlemen, please don’t take these matters to the heart. Mambo ya elections saa zingine hayaeleweki. What we don’t understand is why your Baluhyia political giants (Atwoli/Eliud Sifuna/Philip Etale) didn’t ask their kinsmen to turn out en vote for @TheODMparty” – Boni Khalwale

Boni has previously mocked Siaya senator James Orengo for looking for easier methods to help Raila Odinga become president instead of directly looking for votes. He cites the impeachment motion against the deputy president that Orengo intends to table, as a move to clip the wings of William Ruto so that Raila can easily become president come 2022.

The former senator has in the recent past been in a battle of words with COTU boss Francis Atwoli over luhya leadership in western Kenya. He questioned the loyalty of Atwoli who he accuses of supporting Mudavadi by day and at night is looking for ways to bar him from clinching the presidency come 2022. Khalwale claims Atwoli alongside Raila are trying to look for ways to manipulate the constitution so that Uhuru can continue being the president for a third term.
